Steps to Fix my HP printer Issues

  • Check the status of the current wireless connection on the printer (resetting the print environment).
  • Make sure the devices are properly linked.
  • Make sure your network or cable is normal.
  • Deactivate the power connection and then disable the power cord.
  • Connect the cable to the printer and power it by pressing the Power button.
  • Reload the input tray with a blank sheet stack.
  • Confirm that the level is normal on the ink cartridges.
  • Send a print job and check whether the problem has been fixed.

Fix Common Printer Problems

UPDATE/REINSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER

See if you are using the latest print driver version. If yes, skip to the third step, go on. Click Start > Panel Control. Open the menu Device Manager and click the Program tab. Expand the category of Printers and select the printer model you want to update the driver for. Right-click on the driver and select the option Update / Uninstall and move to fix my HP print.

If an update is available, the system automatically updates the driver. If no update is available, is there a message that you are sure to uninstall it? Pops up.  Click Yes and wait for the driver to be uninstalled. Download and install a new driver from a trusted site. Check whether the problem is resolved, otherwise proceed to the next process.

To correct all possible errors, restart the printer and the computer. Drop the USB cord off the printer and connect it again. Connect the cable to your printer and computer’s USB 3.0 slots. If connected, remove the USB cable from the USB hub. Use another USB cable from a trusted retailer.

MAC

On your Mac device,  Power and click the Apple icon. Click the System Preferences option in the list in a single click. Select the menu Print & Fax or Printer & Scanners. Check to see if the Printers list shows your printer model. If yes, delete and reconfigure the printer to confirm the communication on which my HP printer will work.

Click the option that is similar to the name or model number of your printer. To delete the printer in the list, select the minus sign and click OK. Click on the Plus sign and click the Add Printer or Scanner option after the printer has been removed. Choose your printer from the list and continue.

If your printer is not listed, click on the Plus sign, continue to configure the printer to a printer queue with the on-screen prompts. If your model printer is not listed in the Add Printer or Scanner windows, make sure that the printer and the computer are connected to the same wireless network and that the Internet connection speed is also tested. Then click the Use or Print Use menu, then select your name for your printer.

WINDOWS

Go to your Windows computer’s Windows Update menu. Click the Update option and wait until you complete the update process.
