  • Turn to the connectivity or network option following page loading. Change this to manual or static if the option is set to automatic.
  • You must type one in yourself if no manual IP address is provided. Use a similar address to the original, but increase the number to 5 or 6. Enter this number and your MAC address, and then click Apply or Save.
  • In the URL Bar type and click Enter to type the router’s IP address. To find this, type in ipconfig / all, then click Enter to set up the command prompt.

An empty MAC address field is provided for one of the menu options. Just type it in. Type it in. In order for the router to communicate with it, you will also need to add a new IP address for the printer. To do this, the user manual which comes with the router may need to be examined.

Go to Device Manager again and see if there has been a change in your IP addressFix it right, if not.

So you can use the static address to turn the printer online. This should resolve your problem fairly quickly and you can retake prints as fast as your printer can. Besides the above, the only thing you need to make sure the router does not restart during those steps.
